Feltwell Playgroup offers a place for children to thrive, where they can play, explore, learn and experience a wide range of essential development opportunities.
With dedicated long standing staff who make you feel welcome and keep you informed of your child's progress. Each child is allocated a key worker who will record and help plan the next steps in their learning. This is a valuable record of achievement for parents and informative for their first school teacher.
Most of the children that attend the playgroup then go on to the village primary school to which we have strong links. We visit the school on special occasions to allow children to become familiar with its surroundings and the reception class teacher visits with the children at playgroup before they move on to school to make the transition as smooth as possible.
We are a registered charity & voluntary organisation, run by a committee formed from the parents and guardians of the children attending. New parents/guardians are always welcome to attend committee meetings. Details of meetings are clearly communicated in advance.
We have a set of policies and procedures and a constitution which we follow. These are reviewed and updated regularly and are available for anyone to read. Please feel free to request a copy to be sent or ask a member of staff or the manager to show you a copy.
